Respect for Life Month 2016

Respect Life Month Pamphlet The month of May is Respect for Life Month here at Cambridge Right to Life. During May, we double, triple, and quadruple our efforts to reach out to the community to share the beauty of choosing life for all generations and at all stages. The first weekend in May, many local churches included our Life Giving Love pamphlets either in their bulletins or in common areas at their churches. These pamphlets highlighted our biggest events during May, including our annual Coffee & Dessert evening and mini life chains. On Mother's Day weekend and the weekend after, St. Gregory's Church's Christian Service initiative put up a Right to Life display which included [...]

Come With Us to the March!

Thursday May 12th, 2016 is quickly approaching, and as in previous years Cambridge Right to Life is sending a bus to Ottawa for the day. This is a fantastic opportunity to spend the day with tens of thousands of people who are passionate about every human being's right to life! Tens of thousands of pro-lifers gather on Parliament Hill This year, our government has not only continued to support the slaughter of unborn children, but has extended the threat to vulnerable persons by proposing legalized euthanasia for people with terminal illnesses and disabilities. We must #endthekilling and instead promote respect for All Human Life! Future generations will judge us by how we treated the weakest and most vulnerable members of [...]

Protest at MPP Kathryn McGarry’s Office

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 28, 2016 CAMBRIDGE, ON – Each year Cambridge Right to Life organizes an Annual Protest Walk and visit with a government representative. This year we will be visiting MPP Kathryn McGarry’s office on Friday, January 29th, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. By our presence in a peaceful picket, we will be commemorating the anniversary of the day the Supreme Court of Canada struck down Canada’s abortion law which took away all legal protection for children in the womb. Although the Court urged politicians to establish a new abortion law to regulate the procedure, no politician or political party has brought forward any such legislation in the past twenty-eight years. Since then, [...]

Protest Walk 2016

[hr]Each year Cambridge Right to Life organizes an Annual Protest Walk and visit with a government representative. This year we will be visiting MPP Kathryn McGarry's office on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. By our presence in a peaceful picket on that day, we will be commemorating the anniversary of the day the Supreme Court of Canada struck down Canada’s abortion law.  Since that time, over 4.8 million unborn children's lives have been lost to abortion, leaving countless wounded mothers, fathers and family members.  This lack of respect for human life is now paving the way for euthanasia and assisted suicide in our province and country. While these issues are federally mandated, [...]

The Pain of Abortion Lasts a Lifetime

Cambridge Right to Life recently purchased advertising space at the newly constructed bus shelter at the Delta. Within hours of the ad going up, the sign case was found hanging open and the poster removed.  We're used to people rejecting the pro-life message, but we're left wondering if there is something more behind the sabotage to our ad, since this ad recognizes what few are willing to admit; Abortion Hurts! Unborn children are not the only victims of abortion. Abortion hurts women as well. Scientific studies reveal that many women suffer in silence after abortion. If you're suffering from abortion, know that there is help and healing. Visit the following websites for more information and please read the story below to know you are [...]
