school kidsCambridge Right to Life is launching a new fundraising initiative with elementary schools in our community!

Background:We have always had the support of schools with the Waterloo Catholic District School board in promoting our annual Walk for Life, but lately student involvement from the elementary level has dropped significantly. We have realized that it is impossible for us to compete with things like the Terry Fox Run and the start of a very busy school year. That is why we have introduced the COINS FOR LIFE Project.

We are grateful to the help of the high school students from the “Generation for Life Club” and the “Saints for Life Club” who will launch the project to elementary classes in Grades 5 – 8 in participating schools. We know it is important teachers and staff in the Catholic Board to encourage their students to develop attitudes and values founded on Catholic social teaching and then act to promote a just society. What better way to inspire young people to become involved and through their small actions be a voice to the voiceless.

COINS FOR LIFE is seemingly a small initiative that can have a great impact! To get involved, please contact our office at 519-623-1850 or email us.
