On Saturday, September 24, 2011, seventy-five walkers came out to participate in Cambridge Right to Life's 32nd Annual Walk for Life. Our thanks to everyone who participated and collected pledges on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves. Most notably were the 25 students from the Generation for Life Club at Monsignor Doyle High School. Lead by teachers, Tania Rosario and Deborah Costa, they brought a youthful spirit to the event. Life Chain is an international event that takes place the first Sunday in October in which communities throughout Canada and the United States increase public awareness of the respect for life issue and to pray to end abortion. This year's Life Chain will be on Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Participants line up along both sides of Hespeler Road near the Sleep Country Store and Value Village Plaza.
