Over the summer, a series of shocking videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) were released, in which abortionists, administrators and directors, associated with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) admit to harvesting and selling the body parts of aborted babies.

The Center for Medical Progress self describe themselves as a group of citizen journalists dedicated to monitoring and reporting on medical ethics and advances. CMP went undercover over a 30-month period posing as a biotechnology company and infiltrated the abortion industry in order to expose their commercial exploitation of aborted fetal tissue.

Acting as if they wanted to procure valuable body parts of aborted babies for research purposes, the investigators gathered hundreds of hours of undercover footage, dozens of eye-witness testimonies, and nearly two hundred pages of primary source documents.

Project leader for this in-depth undercover investigation, known as the Human Capital Project, is David Daleiden.

“It is a paradox that we can’t have laws that recognize unborn babies as human, and yet, it is their very humanness that makes them valuable for experimentation.” said Daleidan.

Video footage shows a senior director of medical services at Planned Parenthood, divulging she has “a huddle at the beginning of the day” to determine which fetal body parts consumers are requesting, and which patients that day will have babies from which they will be able to harvest them.

She admits that abortionists tailor the procedure while dismembering the child to get the most “marketable body parts,” including intact livers, hearts, lungs and heads, which are highly sought by those who procure human body tissue for research.

She describes the barbaric reality of how abortionists ensure the best specimens:

For that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps…“I’m not gonna crush that part. I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.

Some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex [head first],”she continues. “So, if you do it starting from the breech presentation [feet first]…often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium [the head] at the end.

In another video, one medical director can be seen haggling over prices of fetal parts and nonchalantly suggests she could ask surgeons to use certain abortion procedures that could keep the aborted baby “intact.”

I wouldn’t object to asking Ian, who’s our surgeon who does the cases, to use an Ipas [manual vacuum aspirator] at that gestational age in order to increase the odds that he’s going to get an intact specimen.

In this chilling clip, she jokes about wanting a Lamborghini and to using “less crunchy techniques” in order to obtain fetal parts.

In a scene from another video, a medical director and a medical student are seen picking through the remains of an aborted 11.6 week-old baby identifying his organs that could be sold for $50 to $75 each.

They are heard identifying a heart, a stomach, a kidney, an adrenal gland and a couple of legs. Then, as if it couldn’t get any more diabolical, the medical student makes a sudden, almost gleeful declaration: “It’s another boy!”

Theresa Deisher, who holds a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular physiology and worked for more than 20 years in the commercial biomedical industry helped to prepare Daleiden for his “role” as a biomedical representative. She says experimenting on material from aborted babies is rampant in this field. Deisher is now the president of Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute and CEO of AVM Biotechnology; both companies have a mission to end the use of aborted babies in biomedical research.

Deisher noted that, “In order to get good heart tissue, it has to be processed within five minutes of death. I bet the gruesome fact is that many of those babies are alive when they are harvested.”

Through the series of videos, we also learn that Planned Parenthood is involved in harvesting and selling “intact” late-term aborted baby cadavers. This begs the question: are these babies be born alive during the abortions and left to die or actively killed outside the womb?

At the time of this writing, six videos have been released and CMP say they have another six to come out in the near future. All of these videos expose nefarious activities and negotiations over the compensation of body parts from aborted babies on the part of the abortion industry.

This story puts a colossal hole in the pro-choice position. Women have been told for decades that the baby in the womb is nothing but a ‘blob of tissue’ and that an abortion is no big deal, but tissue does not contain actual body parts.

Imagine the betrayal and grief countless women will feel thinking they gave consent to donate tissue for medical research only to find out they gave permission for an abortionist to dismember their child and extract its heart, brain, lungs and so on.

PPFA is not alone in this horrific practice. The Center for Medical Progress says, “Trafficking in aborted baby parts is a national problem that crosses state and national lines and implicates …multiple organizational layers of Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation, and numerous middleman companies.”

According to Life Canada, Planned Parenthood Canada, operates under the conglomerate of Action Canada. Action Canada was formed in 2014 when they joined forces with Canadians for Choice (CFC), the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health (CFSH), formerly Canada’s Planned Parenthood, and Action Canada for Population and Development (ACPD).

Action Canada’s website says their goals are to act both nationally and internationally to increase education and access to “to quality sexual and reproductive health information and services.” The term “reproductive health” has become synonymous with “abortion rights” for those working through the international arena.

As far as we know, the Canadian PP affiliates do not perform abortions but they do refer for abortion. Regardless of whether they perform abortions or not, they are by all accounts under PPFA and are likely to be affected by this scandal.

Not surprisingly, Action Canada has not condemned what their sister affiliates have been caught doing since this story broke.

Not everyone involved in the abortion industry in Canada remains silent on this issue, however, instead of denouncing or distancing themselves from this practice, some groups are all too happy to support and advance this heinous practice.

The national political pro-choice group, Abortion Rights Coalition (CARC) stated on its Facebook Page, “If you ever need an abortion and would like to donate your fetal tissue towards research, here’s how,” linking to an American site, Bustle, which argues that donated fetal tissue makes possible many beneficial medical discoveries..” CARC further stated, “Canadian clinics do this too. Everything is handled under strict regulations and ethical guidelines.”

And executive director of CARC, Joyce Arthur told LifeSiteNews, “Of course we support fetal tissue donation, many life saving benefits as for any other type of tissue or organ donation.”

This is reminiscent of Nazi Doctor, Julius Hallervorden who said, “If you’re going to kill all these [Jewish] people, at least take the brains out so that the material can be utilized.”

We would be wise to remember the words of Martin Luther King who said, “We should never forget that everything Adolf Hitler did in Germany was legal.” Like the scientists who carried out ghastly experiments on human beings in the name of furthering science, so too, is the abortion industry spinning illicit practices into humanitarian efforts.

The organization, National Abortion Federation (NAF), which is an association of abortion providers around the world, including about 80 per cent of Canada’s abortion providers, stated in a press release,

“The National Abortion Federation supports fetal tissue donation for humanitarian and medical research…Medical progress should not be impeded by those whose agenda is to demonize abortion providers and make abortion care inaccessible for women. We cannot allow underhanded, misleading tactics by anti-abortion extremists to stigmatize life-saving medical research. Scientific research, with its potential to save millions of lives, and health care access should not be derailed by anti-abortion politics.”

Canadian law states, “No person shall buy, sell or otherwise deal in, directly or indirectly, any tissue, body or body part for the purpose of a transplant or for a therapeutic purpose, medical education or scientific research.”

Ethicist Eike-Henner Kluge of the University of Victoria, told LifeSiteNews, “The sale of human tissue is ethically objectionable. It is wrong to commodify human beings and parts of human beings, but added, “Nobody enforces those regulations and it’s done all the time.”

The Federal government allocated $6 million of tax payers’ money for International Planned Parenthood Federation for overseas “health and reproductive services” through the Muskoka initiative, and the province of Ontario spends $50-80 million dollars funding abortion services each and every year.

It is our understanding that the City of Cambridge shares funding in cooperation with the Region of Waterloo for Planned Parenthood Waterloo (PPW). We have asked the city how much money they allocate PPW and are waiting to hear back from them.

An investigation into the activities of the abortion industry in Canada, including the PPFA affiliates, should be pursued. As taxpayers, we fund these atrocities through these organizations and we have a right to know whether our money is supporting these activities.

Now that we know, we are obligated to hold ourselves, our scientific community, and our government representatives accountable.
