Finding Peace After Abortion

Yesterday was Mother's Day. For the millions of women who have lost children to abortion, it can be the hardest day of the year. This letter from a woman who regrets her choice to abort is worth the read. Dear Friend: Tomorrow is Mother's Day. I am 48 years old and every Mother's Day since I aborted my two children has been painful. Some years, and most of the days in between, I muted the pain by listening to the cultural messages around me that there had not been life present anyway. I tried to talk to my female therapist about what I was feeling after the first abortion. She told me that women who give up their children [...]

Let Life Win – National March for Life

Join tens of thousands on Parliament Hill for the National March for Life! Cambridge Right to Life is sending a coach bus to our nation’s capital on Thursday, May 14th at 5:45 am from the parking lot of the new SAIL Store (150 Holiday Inn Drive, near Tim Horton’s) and return at approximately 11:30 pm. The cost is $60 per person. Last year, an estimated 23,000 pro-lifers assembled on Parliament Hill and marched through Ottawa to inform Canadians that we are the only western nation with no protection for the unborn. Since 1969, over 4 million children have been killed by abortion in Canada. In 2015, another 100,000 babies will be put to death, at taxpayer expense, [...]

Let’s Pretend They’re Whales

An article in The Star reports that Community Safety Minister Madeleine Meilleur will announce this week that her ministry will conduct an extensive consultation in order to formulate new regulations to protect captive marine mammals in Ontario. We applaud this humanitarian response to obvious neglect and blatant animal abuse. After all, caring for animals is a moral issue. We believe respect for animals and respect for human life are inextricably related and yet the later seems to be at odds with provincial legislators. If we are truly honest, we cannot ignore the plight of our pre-born brothers and sisters. The sufferings they undergo as they are dismembered, decapitated and disembowelled through abortion is arguably more tragic. There is something wrong when political leaders refuse [...]

2015 Annual Protest Walk

Please join us for a peaceful demonstration outside MP Gary Goodyear’s office (1425 Bishop Street) on Friday, January 30th, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Twenty-seven years ago, the Supreme Court of Canada struck down Canada’s only abortion law. Since that ruling, abortion is available on-demand through all nine months of pregnancy up to the moment of delivery for any reason or no reason. For the past nine years the conservative government has done everything within its power to avert a discussion, debate or even consider Canada’s status quo on the issue of abortion. But like it or not, the issue of abortion is sure to dominate the 2015 election due to Justin Trudeau’s undemocratic edict to disallow pro-life [...]
